Terms and Conditions on purchasing PDF sheet music downloads
By purchasing PDF sheet music downloads from harpmusicdownloads.co.uk you agree to the following terms of use:
We do not offer refunds or returns. If there is an error in your order or you have received a faulty product, please contact us for a replacement.
Please respect the copyright law so that we can continue to bring you more new works and arrangements. Sharing your download with others is against the law. Here are some commonly asked questions about what you can and cannot do with your downloads once you’ve bought them.
Can I print out my downloads?
Yes, you can print out your downloads, provided that each copy you print is for your own personal use. You may not print out your downloads to give to someone else, including students, except in the case of harp ensemble works that include multiple parts (see below). Jump to the end for tips on printing.
Can I put my downloads on a tablet device?
Absolutely. You can put the sheet music downloads you purchased on your own personal tablet devices. You cannot send your digital files to any other person to put on their tablet device. You must be sure to save a backup of your purchases so you can re-install them on another device should you change devices in the future – you will not be able to access purchases made on harpmusicdownloads.co.uk after the expiry date.
Can I send a digital copy of my download to someone else?
No. Your digital downloads are for your use only, and you may not distribute them to other people.
What about ensemble arrangements or works with multiple parts?
You can print out each part to give to another member of your group, but you cannot print and distribute multiple copies of the same part.
What if my ensemble needs extra parts?
If you need more than one copy of a part included in a set, you will need to purchase them, or alternatively ask the other members of your group to purchase their own set or part. We try to make this easy for you by making sure that individual parts are available for sale.
Why are my downloads password protected and stamped?
To help protect against the illegal distribution of our downloads, we stamp all the PDF downloads for sale on this site with your name and date of download.
Printing your downloads
Check the paper size stated on the product page. We recommend that you print a test page before printing your full download. It’s a good idea to try choosing “fit to area” or “scale to fit” in your print dialogue box, but in some cases you’ll get a better result by not selecting this box. You may need to experiment with reducing and enlarging the area to fit your specific paper size.
Our PDF downloads come in many different lengths, from a single page to books of 30 or more pages. The number of pages for each piece and part should be in the product description so you can check your paper try before pressing printing!
Searching Tips
Click on the magnifying glass at the top of the screen to search by title, or use the filters in the Shop to search by Harp Type, Product Type, Genre, Composer/Arranger, Occasion.
Click on an individual piece page to see “Additional Information,” such as level and type of harp.
Type of Harp
• Choose “Lever Harp” to see pieces that are playable on lever harp, or for harp ensemble where all the parts are playable on a lever harp.
• Choose “Pedal” to see pieces that are only playable on pedal harp, or for harp ensemble where all parts are only playable on a pedal harp.
• Choose “Mixed” for ensemble pieces where some parts are playable on lever harp and some parts on pedal harp.
Levels
Levels are assigned by the composer or arranger, and are based on the following:
• Beginner: very easy
• Advanced Beginner: easy, a basic technique is required
• Intermediate: could be learned fairly quickly by a good player
• Advanced: would require practice for an advanced harpist
Some ensemble works could include parts of varying levels: if that is the case, it should be indicated in the product description.
Length
In the product description for each piece, the number of pages is listed. This allows you to check that you have enough paper in your tray! Downloads may contain title pages and text pages that decrease the amount of actual music contained in a part. Downloads originally formatted for print may also contain blank pages.
